A nursing friend told me years ago, that she and her colleagues were getting so fed up of the "small pr***" comments, and started to say "little scratch" or "sharp scratch" instead
That's the issue many will have. This Covid vaccine worked on just this year is apparently far more effective than the flu vaccine that's been worked on and modified for decades. People need to know that it won't be an annual jab forever so rich people can milk the system. That the 10% who caught Covid still didn't get ill or die. That not having it won't make you restricted from being allowed to do things.
As someone outside the top 10 groups, I'm happy to let them be the alpha and beta testers for this. I'll take my turn when they get around to the rest of the population knowing it has been tested on millions already.
Well, my life might be sad and miserable, but I do value the ability to enjoy being sad and miserable . If I was in another category, I would have it earlier but I'm not so can't.
The one that's just given £670000 to a mates PR company for work civil servants do everyday it's not a government it's a licence to spread tax payers money amongst the family and friends of Johnson Cummings and co. If it was a Labour government doing this the media would be all over it like a rash cause it's the Tories not a word.
I've been in hospital a few times when I've needed the anticoagulant injection they give at night and they've always said some variation of "scratch" when I've had it.
I used to give blood but have lapsed since leaving the company that used to arrange it - probably ought to start again but when I used to they always said "a small scratch" when sticking the needle in. Not done it for a few years but doubt its changed
I went for the flu jab this year - first time as I'd not bothered before. I asked the nurse" will it hurt" She said no - you'll just get a LJ. Oh that's OK then - just a small *****
