Yes I have

But that doesn't alter the fact that he's been arrested for being drunk and disorderly.

    I'm basing it on that.

Nowt wrong with coppers in general...

...but the Met are a different breed.

"folk like him don't like the police"......"People rarely change drastically" - preconceptions again. Applied prejudice.

"if he's been arrested for being drunk and disorderly, then that says it all" To you maybe, but that's not really how it works. The fact that you doubt that the police would have made it worse suggests to me that you haven't been around this kind of thing much. Believe me mate, they can.

    Thing is though...

    Preconceptions ARE relevant.

If someone's committed a crime before, or acted in a certain way before, they're more likely to do so again than someone who hasn't.

Doesn't mean they're necessarily guilty of course, but the chances are higher.

Anyway, fair discussion. I do understand what you're saying.

he wanted the police to intervene and 'do their job' by getting the camera off the photographers.

I like Loko's taste in women

And I'm my usual non-confrontational self.

    Hmmmm.... police to blame?

Chelsea and England footballer Ashley Cole has said sorry to police for a foul-mouthed tirade that led to him being arrested.

The 28-year-old, who was arrested outside the Collection nightclub in South Kensington on Thursday, said in a statement: "I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to the police officers on duty for my language.

"I felt I was being harassed by paparazzi and while complaining to the police about this at the scene they did warn me to calm down, a warning that I regrettably did not heed.

"I fully appreciate that whatever frustrations I may have had with others that it was completely inappropriate to vent those in conversations with the police.

"However, I do want to make clear that I swore in frustration at the paparazzi's behaviour. I would never disrespect police officers in anyway."

Cole, who earns a reported £82,000 a week at Chelsea, added: "I take very seriously my responsibilities as a professional footballer, this includes keeping my body in the best condition.

"Although I had consumed some alcohol earlier in the evening on a night out with friends it had not been excessive. But I accept that the language I used on this occasion was wrong."

Isn't it allegedly a show marriage anyway?

She gets in a spot of bother about maybe being a bit racist, he has to stop the press publishing stories about him maybe enjoying having mobile phones inserted into his anus by other men. She can't be racist as she has married a black bloke, he can't be gay cos he's married a stunner. He cheats on her once, proving again how straight he is, she takes him back showing how compassionate and forgiving she is. A few months down the line he might happen to cheat again, and this time she might say enough is enough and get rid of him. Both parties come away benefitting from it.

    Allegedly.

I'd not heard that before amazingly as it does fit the facts quite well.

She doesnt need him anymore though - he needs her much more I think.

Having said that I dont believe it some women do seem to genuinely love guys that dont deserve them
