Good Reception for Morgs today?

I think Morgan should've stopped at Barnsley

And not get paid. Or gone somewhere else to a poorer club.

As well as being a former barnsley player Morgan has a career and financial commitments to consider. If we'd all clubbed together to pay his wages he might have stopped at Oakwell like.

RE: I'm with DB3K on this one

Exactly fella. I've no problem with him leaving and staying at an higher level. But how many Barnsley fans on here, if they were a professional football player would go play for the Blunts? Anyway I won't be booing him today or cheering him. He's just another opponent like anyone else. He's part of our past and i'm more bothered about the here and now.

    I have to admit

Your total and utter lack of understanding of the world outside of your head is without compare.

Someone of his ability could have gone anywhere and not lost out financially.

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

He took a better offer when one wasn't forthcoming from the club he loved, and made sure he didn't have to go through the problem of relocating himself and his family.

Sensible decision and one that anybody with any sense would have taken.

    Should hope so.

Gave everything whenever he was on the pitch. More than can be said for the majority of players at the time or since.

I've no problem with him going. There was no way a club in our situation could have kept him. I just think his choice of club stinks. We are talking about a much admired and respected player here who would have been snowed under with offers. Hardly think it would have made an iota of difference to his career or pocket going somewhere else.

Will get a good reception from me. Would still love to see him come back to us. Legend. Personally I never criticise players that leave to better their careers. At the time he had to leave. Sheff U was an easy choice for him to make because he didn't have to move his family etc. I don't think he would have signed for Wendies.

Totally different as the customers of a mainstream business don't give a toss about the staff.

    Disagree DB3K

I think Morgs expects a lil bit of stick but its only football at end of the day. He is a big Barnsley dsupporter. I'll be be giving Morgs a cheer :)

I think it's the fact that he did that makes it hard to swallow he's now doing the same for Sheff U.

    What bets on...

Morgan being a) booked b) sent off c) giving away a penalty d) giving away a penalty for a foul on Odejayi - what odds on all four?
