It's probably me who's got it wrong again I thought he'd joined the board, but with an eye to helping find a buyer. There seems to me to be a chang of attitude and approach from the top which has coincided with him joining the club.
Anyone in mind, mate? I must be honest, I haven't the foggiest idea who the manager wants to bring in.
Re: It's probably me who's got it wrong again I haven't seen where he's accepted the invatation to join the board but I hope he has. I was down at the well this morning with the grandson and got talking to a guy that works down there, I asked if he knew owt about the takeover and he said that in his opinion he doubted it would happen because Mrs Cryne didn't want to sell ( some body posted the same last week ). He said that while PC hardly ever came due to illness Mrs PC came to nearly all the matches with their son and his girlfriend. Could she be getting her wish hence the purse strings being loosened a tad.
If he manages it fitting 5 loanees into our matchday squad could prove tricky and it will bring out people asking what happened to relying less on loans that our board said we would after Bobins went.
Re: Anyone in mind, mate? Having just listened to the interview Keith seems very upbeat and determined to fight back which sounded very refreshing indeed!
I'm just pleased That, for the first time since we beat Birmingham, that we seem to be getting some positive vibes from within the club, mate.
