RE: you people outside of football? http://www.barnsleyfc.org.uk/bbs/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=107223&mid=693496#M693496
Am I reading it wrong or something?

Some kind of collective gesture from the BBS?
Just to ease a few consciences like. Not mine obviously, I've always backed him to the hilt.

RE: What do you suggest? nt
Dunno, Laura. Probably best if I don't suggest it.
You're usually good at stuff like this. Any ideas?

Could ask Paul or Owen to put a collection box in the Supporters Trust Office on Saturday for a start.
Thought some of your PR was an unmitigated disaster, but you've done what you said you would and stabilised a club that was on perilous financial ground to the extent where the new manager can actually spend a few bob on players. For that alone, you have my heartfelt thanks.
Financially, the guy has worked miracles, to turn things round so quickly is impressive. I believe Gordon has succeeded in what he set out to do, where many others would have failed. All the best for a long and healthy retirement and thanks.
RE: Gordon Sheperd.....well done, sir... Steered a very shaky, leaky boat through some very rough waters.
well done - top class

RE: That for Gordon ? Is SM the one who sits at back of Ponty West stand side shouting "it`s coming".
Old Shep... ... he was a good chairman. Best chairman I ever knew. Good luck boss. Remember, keep your left arm straight and don't over grip, Take an extra club on the par threes, you're not as young as you were.
