    That is exactly my point.

If they are directly involved with BFC & will be used to farm out some of our young un's as a properly run feeder club - then fine ... but let's announce it & do it properly.

As it stands at the moment - it's a new club which has somehow been allowed to build a stand on the land of our Football Club.
    Is that acceptable?

I admire the self-confidence that leads you to the assumption that you're better placed to determine the possible threat of AFCB to BFC than Messrs Cryne and Shepherd.

    No, actually I don't. I think you're a bit slack.

    Okay then.

Can I build a nightclub in your garden?
And you can rent it from me at weekends?
    Aren't I kind.

Judging by Messrs Cryne and Shepherd's absolutely flawless running of the club so far :)pff) then I think I have every right to be worried.

Sorry, I'll not question things in future. How dare I?

Maybe you should offer to show them how to carry on.

I'd try to get a grasp of the basic workings of a message board first though if I was you.

    This is where we disagree.

I think Patrick Cryne is a God.
Without him we would be doomed.
What he has done for BFC is an amazing thing.

    It's AFC I don't understand.
If Patrick does actually have anything to do with AFC, which I have no idea about ... then why would he not state that it's a feeder club to BFC?
I'd be happier about that - he could state his plans for the club & tell us how it's going to be used to let the young lads get some much needed experience.

The fact is - I still can't get my head around AFC as it 'stands' at the moment.

    Oh, well, sorry.

Not being able to place messages in the correct place completely invalidates my argument.

Do I honestly think AFC is a threat?
    Do I ****.
I just don't understand what AFC is & how it fits in with BFC.

    So:
Can I build a nightclub in your garden & rent it back to you?
    Simple question really.

Can I ask you a serious question?

Which is the most important to you out of these? (based upon your 'seeing young kids enjoying themselves' statement):

    (1) Setting up teams for all age groups.
    (2) Climbing to the '3rd tier' of the blah blah pyramid.

    A stand.
    At Oakwell.

    RE: So what?

So - let's get this right:

AFC pay BFC for the use of the facilities.
BFC pay AFC for the use of the new stand for reserve games.

    I'm all confused.

I'm probably completely wrong ... but to a layperson like myself - that just sounds like moving a tenner from my front pocket into my back one.

No you can't but I'm sure that if you have any advice for multi-millionaire businessmen Patrick Cryne and Gordon Shepherd on how to handle thier monetary affairs they'd be falling over themselves to hear it.

Where the **** are we going now?

No, you're right, shut AFCB down because they don't have teams of other age groups.

    Or summat.

    Next.
