we agree on last point. I think we’re broadly coming from the same angle and then the system is broken we just perhaps disagree on the culpability based on personal experiences Just seems to me that they are made scapegoats particularly in the media for the governments failings. Therefore it’s quite difficult to sit there and read that standpoint been regurgitated by the general public. Anyway, all the best and up the reds.
I think so too. And I agree on the scapegoating and perhaps not helpful. Pharmacies for example could do a lot more. And then where do we even start on government failings? They are far far beyond the pale. And the same to you mate today is a good day in that Conway and Lee are off the board. You reds!
And therein lies the problem. It sounds like your practice have a decent system but clearly by the comments on here many don’t. By allowing each Practice to operate individually it allows gaps. In balance though it’s not just the local doctors ran like this each trust is also ran as a separate entity, instead of one big thing.
The last line in spades. There's a woman at my GP surgery who is a dreadful gatekeeper. Ring at 8am on the dot... "whats wrong with you, is it serious?" Not helping.
Thats terrible, the receptionists at my wife's doctors ( answering phones and booking appointments) have suddenly become GP's by default, old Barbara who does two mornings a week can now diagnose the worst of ailments, over the phone, without seeing said condition, amazing aey, Doctors have to study for years and little old Barbara is straight on it, you go girl ( tongue in cheek btw but I think some may no where I'm coming from )
Not enough GPs and GP surgeries for the population increase over the last 20 years , not enough schools either.
