I think he's ****. I took an almost instant dislike to him, which is very unfair, but he's never done anything to change my view. I just can't see what he does for the team. Having said all that, yesterday he was OK in the first half. He made some good passes. The second half was a different story. You could argue he never actually made it out for the second half, such was his lack of input in the game and Davey should have subbed him for Togwell after the first ten minutes, when it was obvious we were overrun in midfield. The Chronicle claims we turned down a £200,000 bid from Scnuthorpe for McCann. I find it astonishing that we can refuse that amount of money for a player as poor as McCann.
You're Like A........ second father to Laura. Always having a go The Sheffield half marathon is the day after we beat Charlton at home.
I am the unbarrasable No such thing for me, as you have seen on several occasions in the Dil Raj Wait til you see my next shirt! And the hat, well..............
Mortally wounded cutting insult of the decade that - hurts like hell, I've never been accused of being a father before. Cut to the quick. May well have to cancel my BBS membership and have counselling.
So fancy dress next time we go out? With the strange looks we'll get from the staff they may forget to give us the bill!
You are kidding They'll remember that all right, don't you worry. Remind me to tell you about the time a waitress paid my bill in a London restaurant. Honest! But not on here the story won't work as it involves talking in a funny accent.
RE: Mortally wounded I'm intrigued as to how you got someone to pay your bill in London. Was she a goer?
Unless you want it as a TV as well, it'd be cheaper just to buy a monitor. You tend to find also that monitors have panels with a native resolutions that fit well with Windows's display settings. This is not always the case with LCD TV's. Are you looking for 4:3 or widescreen?
Like I said The story won't work on here - I need to talk in a daft accent to explain it. I'll relate it over a chocolate bar sometime. Believe me though, it's perfectly true. I had fillet steak too, most expensive dish on the menu as I remember.
RE: Like I said Well it was a while ago now! She was called Ozgur and was from Turkey. Still get the odd email from her.
Some people like it, some don't. I prefer 4:3 but Howard likes his widescreen ones. http://www.zomp.net/shop/product_info.php?ctr=froogle&products_id=481397 http://www.lambda-tek.com/componentshop/index.pl?prodID=B87414 look like good buys for widescreen and 4:3 respectively
Was looking at this http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/589306/art/samsung/syncmaster-2232bw-22-wide.html#fichetechnique a bit more expensive but a slightly higher spec? Have seen som 20" HD ready TV's with pc input for under
Not really She didn't buy me anything, probably wanted a meal ticket as you said. The turkish lass did buy something for me and did not expect anything in return, honest She was just pleased that we (group of work colleagues who were in London on business for a couple of weeks) kept going back in and were nice to her. It was in fact an interesting north-south comparison. As a Turk she had no pre-conceived ideas about southerners and northerners, but she actually said that most customers just treated her like some sort of slave, never said "please, thank you" etc and that we were breath of fresh air. She hated the typical London customer - never any time, moaning about the slightest delay or slightest problem with the meal etc and spent the entire meal speaking on two mobiles at once and communicating with her just in sign language. The idea that there were people who realised she (and her colleagues too) was a human being was something new to her.
