cant argue with that. I would add though I think McCann is useful cover to have incase of injuries. but I think the message is he wants regular football and we cant promise him that. 18 months Championship experience, full international and goal scoring record equates to more than a hundred grand in todays market though.

of all clubs, Southend may well be interested. they were in talks with Cheltenham before we nipped in and nabbed him, and they've just missed out on Elliott from Hull. What with SKY TV money and us doing them a favour, stranger things have happened......

Dont think we can afford to let him go at this stage DE Silva gone Johnson going Howards future uncertain if Mcann were to leave as well we would be very short in midfield.
