You did us proud. The 4500 sounded so loud. Valerien has said you all sounded like 30,000 and he was right. Well done to each and every one of you.

Agreed, and I don't think there was much reaction to the kneeling before the game, so that denies the media a story they would otherwise have liked to taint us with.

There was a reaction where I was sat, it was notable that the vast majority around me were clapping.

I’ve seen a few comments on here and social media in fear that we might have had ‘fans’ that boo the movement. How wrong those people were. Proud to be a red tonight.

Got goosebumps when the players walked out. They got huge cheers as they came out to warm up too, Mowatt seemed to be enjoying that.

I heard some slight boos from the brainless idiots when they were taking the knee but I think we tried to sound them out with some cheers and applause.

There were definitely a few boos came out of the East stand upper North. Certainly appeared to come from that direction. but the cheers and clapping then drowned em out. Effing Morons.
Else the atmosphere was electric at times.

That’s good. They weren’t particularly loud and like I said, they were drowned out by cheering.

Well done to you all, I was following your game on the BBC website and you were getting so many compliments about your backing for the team and the atmosphere you created.

I heard what I thought was a few "youuuu reeeds" rather than boos. But whatever it was was swiftly drowned out. And everyone was fantastic during the game, made a great atmosphere and the lads obviously appreciated it.

There were 3 or 4 moments during the build up and the players entrance that their must have been quite a bit of dust blowing around Oakwell. Only reason i can explain the droplets in my eyes :D

Totally agree. Thought the atmosphere was fantastic. Was worried with people being spread out, with it being quite cold, with the rain bucketing it down earlier, and with people having to take their seats well before kick off (to sit in the cold) the atmosphere would be spoiled. It wasn't. It came across fantastically well on the coverage. Well done all who were there.

Really sounded great especially first half but seemed to drain away a bit in the second.
IF ONLY we could have got that one goal !!

It did. You could hear the cheers but also the director (vision mixer) cut away to the crowd while the players were taking the knee and it showed everyone clapping. Believe me, having worked in TV, that's a really clever cut. The shots were set up before hand: ref blowing the whistle, at least two shots of the players kneeling, and sweeping shots of the crowd, all in a window of a few seconds. That's bloody good and it showed us in a very good light.

Glad to hear that. But some effin idiots attempted but then got drowned out straight away. I think a few boos were aimed at the booers as daft as it sounds, afore they realised.

There were people booing in the East Stand. I heard it and clapped and cheered to try and drown it out.

Nice one. I’ve lost my voice.

it was great to be able to berate the ref again too.

i had no idea about the players taking the knee it completely passed me by. There certainly wasn’t any booing around me - just giddiness

I was in the North Stand and, to their credit, the Swansea players applauded the Reds fans as they left the pitch into their separate exit at the corner of the stand.

It suggested that they'd reacted positively to playing in front of a crowd again, even a very partisan one against them.
