    Yes remember it well, Futch was a very very classy centre half but always prone to the oddest boollock every know and then when he got a little lackadaisical. Always remember him coming through ranks at Luton and he looked an England regular in the making. Probably his carelessness at times prevented him reaching the heights he looked like reaching in his younger years. Great player for us though.

    I think he played a few times at U21 international level?

    Yes mate he played with under 23s I think it may have been back then, correction it was under 21s,

    Completely agree. A classier own goal you'll never wish to see. Ball at his feet, no pressure, dribbled it forward slightly. Stopped and turned in one movement and lobbed Baker from 40 yards out. Futcheresque brilliance.
