    Stick Delap there then. For the long throw. I just loved Beresford as a young lad. I shoehorned Hignett in on the same wing too. I think I’ll swap Barnes for Hammill too now I’ve thought about it. :D

    Beresford was the absolute leftist of left backs so I’d never have him on the right!

    However if it had to be 4-4-2, I’d replace Ooh Gerry Gerry with Hammill, trippier and Barnard at fullback, hignett on the right Hammill on the left.

    I think both Toney and Wood are above Ashley Ward. Ward only played about 3 or so seasons in the Prem, whereas Toney is a 20 goal a season man, and Wood has been a proven player at that level for a good 8 years or so.

    Agree with most of the other names mentioned. Molby would be the absolute stand out if you lengthened the criteria to include top flight and not just Premier League.

    Rodriguez would have to be what he’s done since? He was pony for us, by same token Jon Walters, Toney, Ugbo and Chris Wood were all dogger.

    Yep ugbo has never played in the premier league, the rest have done well since been here. In toneys defence he was very young same as Chris Wood. I still remember the if toneys worth that what's cauley worth... aged well.
