    impossible to walk back without a huge grin on your face

    despite the marauding neaderthals, but excellent looking back on it, we saw trevor Francis being interviewed at oakwell after the second leg and he was still winging on about it (shithappens)

    Hammered two days before, in the relegation zone, promotion-chasing team coming to town with thousands of fans. What's it to be, Barnsley? Do you want to be playing the likes of Doncaster again next season? If not, then put a shift in, and put your chances away when they arrive. They did. And Nardiello put the chance away. A fantastic day, topped off by Leeads losing in the last minute. One of my proudest days watching us. Made me remember why I love you.

    1-0 home against Brentford in 2003 to secure our League 1 status. Uptown Top Rankin scoring in the last minute. Would the club ever have recovered if it had gone down to League 2?
