apparently the confusion between the two was one of the reasons they changed the name. Everyone knows Toblerone comes from Swaziland.
not any more it doesn't https://www.mirror.co.uk/money/toblerone-makes-major-change-packaging-29382204
i'll be returning 3 tickets asap as we won't be able to attend the new date, well done all involved, pretty pi55 poor making the ipswich fans travel up on a tuesday night too, bet their die hard core are even more pi55ed off than ours!
It’s only been a couple of days, surely it’s not that hard to reinstate it, only ones to be slightly inconvenienced would be Ipswich and it’s their bloody fault to start with!
You are right , it will cost our club thousands , no way will Ipswich fans travel in numbers for the mid week game & they will of course be entitled to refund , well done Ipswich , you have shafted the league & shafted our club .
Funny thing is, is that arguably our star player Luca Connel is on international duty and so is his replacement John Russell.
Honestly think international call ups shouldn’t affect league games. Teams have plenty big enough squads even if they aren’t the ones they would ideally like to play but at the end of the day it’s 11v11. Otherwise the international breaks should be the same for all leagues not just the ones who get players called up. Then it would be fair to everyone and no case for complaint from anyone really.
Not so sure about that. If you have 3 players called up at League 1 level, chances are there'll be a couple of key players in there. If Connell had been called up, along with Russell and Jalo into the Portugal u21s squad, we'd probably want the game postponed. Big question here, is how was the game allowed to be postponed before the 3 call ups were confirmed? Ultimately, I don't think it particularly advantages or disadvantages anyone. We could argue that the Saturday off between midweek games is beneficial, rather than playing a team on a winning run, where they've been keeping clean sheet after clean sheet. But there's been a **** up somewhere.
