No not a lot in it and clearly over a longer period our form is much better. Even the 6 games it’s a draw v a win that’s the difference. I was just trying to make point that they were the form team so why would they fear us.
Unfortunately, we'll never know whether the paperwork sent to Ipswich was part of the provisional squad call up, or a **** up from the Jamaican FA where they sent proper call up notifications incorrectly. There's another question of why are they not confirming their squad till so late in the day? If Leigh had been included in the squad, waiting till a few days before the game to postpone wouldn't have been ideal. I'd suggest John Smith is correct that Ipswich didn't want to play us, with two of their best players missing, but I can also understand it. I wouldn't particularly have wanted to play them, had Luca Connell been called up and would've expected us to use that, along with the Russell and Jalo call ups to get the game called off. Ultimately, I'm not convinced any team particularly gains an advantage or disadvantage from the postponement. If anything, Ipswich might be better off to keep playing while they're in such good form. Last time they had an international break, they lost their next game at Bolton. They travel to Derby on the 1st April. If they lose that, they'll probably regret calling tomorrow's game off.
Of course they would prefer not to play anyone without their strongest team but there’s a huge difference between that and fear.
