I find weather apps in general to be a waste of time. Often, we are planning what to do at the weekend, whether to go the coast or something, so check the weather on Saturday night for Sunday, and it says its fine. So get up early Sunday, check it again and it now says its going to rain. With all the technology involved these days in weather forecasting, if they can't tell on Saturday night whether it's going to rain on Sunday, then what's the bloody point. Might as well just stick your head out of the door.
Aye I would still say I don't see it being called off for heavy rain. Lower leagues might struggle though. I don't think Scarborough will be on.... https://www.facebook.com/share/p/w2dZZ3faPbRXZtrg/
Its just our luck that we might have finally beat them at home tomorrow, for the first ever time. But now it could be called off, because its just a little bit chilly at the moment lol. As for Scarborough's hopes of a match, I think they've had their chips there (and frozen ones of course).
Might be for the best. Stands will have puddles of water everywhere and the standard of Football playing in those conditions will be really poor.
On or off, there's little chance of me getting there safely from Leeds so I'm hoping it does get postponed. If Barnsley is anything like Leeds currently I'd be astonished if it went ahead.
Uh oh, I’m currently still tucked up in bed and I don’t like the sound of that! What’s so bad, the wind, rain or both? I might get the train rather than driving, presuming they’re still running ok? Oh f*ck! I just looked outside, I wasn’t expecting that!!
