Done Hillsborough and Bramall Lane to death, and I'm sick of the sight of The Riverside. Ticking Gigg Lane off the list in March...
Done 106 watching Barnsley, spent a sodding fortune. Went to Isle of Man in 1993 for pre season tournament, pissed as a fart for a week

Well If I think to myself i've been to some of the southern ground but not the northern ones who are in the same league, odd to me that
About 65 for me, including a few now in the Conference like Luton & Grimsby and also old grounds like Baseball ground, Maine Road, Millmoor, Ayresome Park, Elm Park & Old Den (to name a few). Also includes the old & new Wembley. Not been to a different ground now for about 12 years apart from the New Wembley .

My favourite subject ...... 126 all with Barnsley First of all I only count Barnsley First team games (No Friendlies). 71 Current League grounds (Maximum is 75, I'm missing Middlesborough, Yeovil, Carlisle, Exeter) We are yet to play a Competitive First team fixture at Arsenal, Colchester, Coventry, Crawley, Stevenage, Shrewsbury, Rotherham, Accrington, AFC Wimbledon, Bristol Rovers, Burton Albion, Chesterfield, Dagenham, Fleetwood, Morecambe, Newport and Oxford 47 Old Football League Grounds and Teams (I include the old Dean Court Bournemouth in this but not many others do) 2 Non League in FAC (Caernarfon and Bromsgrove) 3 Clubs playing on other teams (Wimbledon at Palace, Charlton at Palace and Charlton at West Ham) 3 Neutral grounds (Old Wembley, Millenium Stadium and New Wembley) Total 126 Grounds
Re: My favourite subject ...... 126 all with Barnsley Come on Turvey, for someone with such vast knowledge of BFC, who has seen so many matches, you don't post nearly enough. Regale us with some stories. The best match you've seen at those 126 grounds would be a good start. You're not allowed to choose the victory over Swansea at the Millenium Stadium.
Re: My favourite subject ...... 126 all with Barnsley Never actually counted them up so was interested to have a go. Teams currently in: Premier League : 13 current grounds and 5 old ones Championship : 17 current grounds and 9 old ones. League 1 : 18 current grounds and 3 old ones. League 2 : 10 current grounds and 2 old ones. Conference: 5 current grounds Lower or not in business any more : 3 grounds Neutral : the same 3 as most people (old Wembley, New Wembley and Millenium) 88 in total, but only 58 are current league grounds I could add the City of Manchester Stadium to that total as well if a Take That concert counts! As with many people, I don't see it climbing too much higher - tend to stick to the ones within reasonable travelling distance these days, and those are the ones that I have been to many times. Other than for really one off occasions, such as Plymouth a few years ago on the last day of the season.
Currently around 35 ground there or there abouts. Not including old grounds. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
In 1993 (aged 14) I'd got all 92, with something like 56 of them with Barnsley. But with new teams entering the league and clubs changing ground I'm down to 81 now.
