I will be giving Mick the respect he deserves.. if I have to stand up alone applauding well so be it... Well done Mick... (clap) (clap) (clap)
wouldnt upset me if they did as long as we go on and stuff em by at least 1-0 in the game, and anyone booing MM needs their ****** re adjusting, True Legend, up ther with Ronnie G and Redders in my book
if we have any class we will as a mark of respect ... once the whistle blows then we should go hammer and tongs at them.

Also if we don't they may see it as a disrespectful snub and redouble their efforts to beat us.

Absolutely bang on mate! And this about Davey giving them one if they ask for one - thats a load of **** if true. We should go ahead and do it without them needing to ask. They've had a good season and rightly atop the league. But as you say, as soon as that 1st whistle goes there is no room for sentiment (except hopefully from Macca ;-)
Exactly Scotty Doo. The soon to be league champions shouldn't need to ask for the respect of a guard of honour. Especially when the person responsible is a local legend. We should have offered by now out of respect.
As a amrk of respect, towards the club that was far from offering BFC the same respect all those years ago. if they win the title at oakwell by all means applaud and offer them sucess in the future but untill that time it is war
As good as. Do you seriously think there is any chance Birmingham will catch them? I'll give you 100/1 odds on that.
I'll take it you weren't at oxford in 97. We'd finished 2nd, they gave us a respectful guard of honour and then stuffed us 5-1. I'll take the same tomorrow.
To me it's all about respect andclass and I think SD displayed a lack of it in suggesting they should have to ask for it. I've always been ambivalent towards him in the past but that statement smacked of desperation and made me worry of his mental attitude going into this game. Believe me despite what you may think of him we need him to be up for the next two games.

Oxford in 97 was a different kettle of fish. We had done something that no one expected this club to do. And until wovles are champions bugger the honour guard.
I hope that we do it. It shows a bit of class for a start. I'll never forget the one at Oxford in 97 and it would demean the memory of that if we didn't repeat the gesture in a similar situation. I also think it'll be a good way to honour a true BFC hero, but enough about Kyel Reid, Mick might see it too! After that we can get on with the job of trying to stay in this division.
WHY why give them the guard they arent champions yet maccer is a legend think it will be a draw but fancy 3 points personally, the wolves been partying all week down here
What difference does it make that they haven't 'officially' got the Championship yet? Promotion is always a good feat - Oxford were more than happy to oblige at our 2nd place finish. Not only that but Stevie Wonder can see they are already champions - can you really see there being an 11 goal swing from 2 games?
