Personally I can see them all having problems wherever they end up. Cole,Williams and Kane aren’t as good as they think they are and could over stretch with their ambitions. Especially Cole being the delicate soul he is mentally , if he doesn’t hit the ground running could end up getting some stick from the new fan base then would implode, Williams is decent but I think might push himself too far out of his depth and Kane isn’t getting any younger.
Cole - Wednesday Williams - Wednesday Kane - Wednesday Cadden - Wednesday All in the Champions League in 3 seasons.
Kane's only 25. His next move should be his best move. I'd never accuse Williams of thinking he is better than he is; he's just a steady, versatile L1 / Championship defender. No more. And after seeing plenty of players play with him then move on to set themselves up financially then I think he too has earned that chance.
Cole is basically decent L1 standard. If he aims higher than that, he ain't getting a lot of game time. Wrexham is a decent shout.
I think Kane might end up at Wrexham. Cadden - probably a top half L1 club, too slow to go higher. Maybe Oxford if they stay down Cole - Huddersfield, or maybe Oxford if they go up Williams - Huddersfield
Cole - Stockport. Nearer to the Manchester nightlife. Kane - Derby - as one of their younger players. Williams - Huddersfield. Going home. Cadden - Rangers - making him their best player.
Cole & Williams - Huddersfield Kane - Birmingham Cadden - some Scottish side that isn’t Celtic or Rangers.
Williams & Kane - Huddersfield - Can see Duff wanting them both Cole - Wigan - He seems like a Wigan signing. Unless things have changed they tend to pay higher wages than us. Cadden - Random Scottish side. Recent become a dad & I think his partner is Scottish too so it’d make sense to have family nearby.
Cole-Don’t care relieved it’s not here Cadden-Don’t care least it’s not here Kane-Don’t care ecstatic it’s not here Williams- Don’t care not 4rsed Cundy- Who?
I think we failed Cole in a coaching capacity. I’ve never seen a worse forward at holding the ball up. Amazingly, he didn’t improve in the last few years, at all. Did we not try and coach him to be better?
Just so I'm correct: These four players who we've released, who we all claimed are rubbish, who we all are thanking the Lord that they've gone, were predicting them all to land at clubs that are either in the division above or direct rivals? Priceless stuff from the BBS.
Wherever they go. The grass is not allus greener. May end up as squad players rather than regular starters.
I personally hope all five go on to get more money and a better contract at new clubs wherever suits them best. Not one of them has done anything to offend any of us personally, if you take them performing poorly a few times as a personal offence and a reason to hope they fail in the future, you need to take a look at yourselves in the mirror. Good luck gentlemen.
