When I worked at Yorkshire Post we had a Sales Manager who loved the buzzwords. So we devised a Buzzword Bingo game and at Sales meetings we each had a card with different phrases on, and if he mentioned one you marked it off - Get the drift? We were all mouthing "line" "only need one" etc when he discussed the Saturday Supplement and referred to a "Cat Killer". We were all stumped as nobody had this on their card. I stumped up the courage to ask what a "Cat Killer" was and he replied "It's when the supplement is so big, when the paper lad posts it through the letterbox , the curious cat comes to the door and .... !!
