    I wouldnt mind Hiddink

if you can get South Korea to the semi finals and Australia to the World Cup you cant be a bad manager.

    Korea qualified as hosts..
Australia... don't get me wrong but they hardly played the cream of world football to qualify.

Still say that Steve Coppell is the man.

RE: If it has to be an English man

    It has to be McClaren.

He is an outstanding coach, note I said coach.

He was head hunted by Man.U from Derby. A recommendation in itself.

He Knows the Premiership inside out and has an excellent knowledge of the players.

He has excellent analytical skills and is an intelligent coach.

    He is a tactically aware.

He is good with the media.

He has been groomed by the FA for over 5 Years so has the experience of International, not just Domestic or European football.

It would be unfair of the FA to appoint a foreign coach as the scum bags in the press would be out to get him from the start. Just like they have always been hostile to Sven.

    Mick McCarthy..

Has plenty of International experience both as a player and a manager. What he did as an International Manager, with the talent that was available to him was really very good. Forget what he has done at Sunderland because it's a totally different kettle of fish. He is English and he is passionate about his football and at International level he has been as successful, relatively speaking as anyone else who is in the running for it.
