    Why?

I thought Davey has always had complete control over transfers.

Aye, seems like a top bloke. Shame that passion doesn't always come out in interviews.

Coincidence that the day he is told to be more fan friendly to keep his job

he suddenly appears to be the friendliest bloke in the world and really passionate about the club after over 2 years of nothing

Fair enough. What were his problems anyway?

    Once again

You're ignoring the other side of the coin. There have been plenty of people coming on here saying how easy he is to approach and how passionate he is for the job.

Kim Christensen was signed in August 2007

Simon Davey had been given the job on a permanent basis in January 2007.

    Pre-contract agreement?

Maybe Davey didnt have full control of team affairs until after August 2007? Who knows?

There seems to be a lot of spin and briefing and counter briefing going on....

We're normally talking about the cricket come this time of the season.

    I was being sarcastic ...

..... think everybody knows I want SD through the door and I don't think he is a lovely bloke, but that's what he's being made out to be on here today.

It's funny how all the 'pro-davey' folks have said absolutely **** all on here for a month or so and now we are safe they are all creeping out from under their stones to push for his retention as manager, barking mad if you ask me

    It's not true no

The way he conducted himself last night was the exact same way he was when I first spoke to him at the promotion celebration dinner 2 years ago, and at Coventry away last season.

Nothing at all to do with Cryne's comments to Radio Sheffield.

if everyone got the sack because they didn't finish higher the following year about 50% of clubs (on average) would be sacking their manager every year.
