    They were totally bemused as to how they lost. In their opinion apart from hitting the bar 3 times and scoring 2 we created nothing, while they apparently were by far the better side and should have won

    Overall it was a good even game, but we were ultimately more effective.

    Let them delude themselves. Like many others do. It plays completely into our hands.

    They were better than us for long periods especially in the second half.

    Toothless however and we were effective when and where it mattered. Derby game was similar I though

    If only it was still the 14th century BC, or whenever it was they were good, they might have been able to score against us, at the third time of asking.

    Maybe they were doing a skit on Life of Brian. “But apart from the two goals to nil and the three other times our goalkeeper was beaten, what did Barnsley do to win that game?”
    If they can’t figure out how scoring fewer goals than your opponents means you lose, they are in for a long season.

    To be fair they did control quite long periods of the game but couldn't finish !
    Defensively I thought we were very good though.

    Did you deliberately select the away commentary Kev? Just wondered because there’s always a choice of home or away commentary, or maybe you already knew that?

    I find that on IPTV the away stream is nearly always better than our stream...read into that what you will.

    Deluded I listened to as well. . 2nd period of 1st half they dominated. And I was pleased to get to half time. I Thought we controlled most of the game other than a couple of other lapses in concentration. Styles was on another level. Sol and Anders superb.

    I decided to listen to their commentary on ifollow for a change. I’ve never heard a more biased bloke than their co-commentator. He was so confused that the ref gave a free kick for a late foul on Styles because ‘the ball had already gone’!
