You couldn’t be more wrong. It was a swipe at the “esteem “ I think the UK is held in after voting for brexit. I mentioned Poland because the chicken came from Poland, but I reckon that all the remaining members will now regard the UK as unimportant, not worth the time it takes to care what the labels say.

And if you look at my previous posts on brexit, you’ll see see that I was and am one of the most pro Europe and pro EU posters on here so the xenophobia remark is way, way off the mark.

As an old friend of mine once said, “Halal, kosher, free-range, organic - all meat is murder

    tasty, tasty, murder...“

I'll definitely go vegetarian if that happens. I used to have an american girlfriend, so I spent a lot of time over there. You were hard pressed to find decent food anywhere.

Tbf I did think it was out of character given your post history. However on the face of it, the post can easily be construed as being xenophobic. The replies suggest I wasn't alone in my interpretation.

Fair enough Pete, I’ll take that on board and be more careful with my phrasing in the future so my point can’t be misconstrued.

I'm usually more than a day out with most things. I'll take that.
