Can't really argue with much of that, maybe upgrade Roberts to 9 :) and you're too generous to Watters :(.

Another good assessment........if we could bring in 1 but hopefully 2 good/ready to go centre halves then we will defo go up in my opinion......like you say we have no height and no pace in the middle

Gotta mark as you see and he has been excellent.. I think Devante has developed into a good L1 striker. Unless someone offers him daft money I’d re-sign with us as I think we have become a good fit for him.

Yes a center half needs to be priority in January.

I do feel sorry for Williams last January I can remember him been linked with championship clubs for his performances at rwb Preston been one. This season moved to center back been criticised by fans been pretty poor even last night partly to blame for poshs 1st. He seems to have gone down in value I wonder what he makes to it all going from one of the best rwbs in the division to getting pelters at center half.
If we sign a center back does he move back to rwb? We seem to have alot of wing backs on our books cotter, o keefe, Williams, cadden even styles who I think we are trying to put in the shop window and shoe horn him into the side.

Cadden and Williams at wing back. Both much higher quality than any other players in that position.

He goes straight in at rwb for me….best right back at club…..would loan out either Cotter or Okeefe then

Reasonable assessment for me, however I think 4 is way too high for our off field management

A minority report on what is a strange season.
At this point last year we all thought MLH was building something decent but we've got more points at this stage this year. Odd, some may put this down to playing a lot of lower table sides early on. Not a fan of the Collins style of play early on but he has shown last few games that he can change that. Last night was good and we might be putting a run together. Raised eyebrows at playing Williams at CH when Lopota was available. I think he is a better CH than Williams and Williams a better right / wing back than O'keefe. Hopefully new CH settles that one for him.
Why minority report? I'd give Roberts a 6 at most. Decent shot stopper but doesnt command the six yard box, let alone the area. At fault for one last night and a couple more I could think of that he should have had. Also think Watters not that bad. Does a job as a back up striker, scored a couple and plenty of assists. Not had a good run to establish himself. Agree Cosgrove needs to improve but gets a 5 for the sh*thousery against Wycombe to win three points alone. Think there is more to come. Agree with all that we need an experienced centre half. As Roberts is on loan, I'd say a goalie too as Killip didnt look ready

Yes one should be loaned out then I'm not sure where it leaves styles either if Williams moves back to a wing back and we play Williams and cadden. January could be interesting.

I heard the release clause was 2million that's what put Millwall off. He's a good player to have in the squad but he doesn't get in the midfield 3 for me and I'd pick cadden over him a wing back. Was poor last night but had a good game v stevenage.

If two people have both given Watters a 4 i'd hate to see what constitutes a 2.

I agree with some of your reservations about Roberts. I think the immediate positive impact he made might have caused some to overlook the emergence of a relative weakness, as was the case, in my opinion, with Isted, who had problems at his near post. In Roberts' case, as you point out, goals have been conceded recently from inside the 6-yard box.

I’d say the games that Killip played showed more directly what a good keeper he is. Not as good as Say Adam Davies but still very good at L1 level
