Let's hope a new manager is appointed soon, if he is a manager who knows league 1 and knows of our players I'm sure he'd want to keep Hammill and then he would stay. If it is an unknown foreign manager or somone who wants mass changes then it was his last game. It's all down to timing and who will the new manager will be, if we appointed a Holloway, wilder type there's no way they'd want Hammill to leave but if it's GG making the decisions then we are in a mess.
Someone's just posted this on Tykes Talk. Sounds like it's his wife posting, but suggests that it's the club's decision based on wage levels in League One. No idea if it's genuine or not but, if so, I'd be disappointed if he's lea ing for this reason. Personally, I'd hope the incoming manager would have a say in the matter, but it seems to have been decided already.
