    I am a lovely person really and I refuse to be labelled. I'm certainly not bitter or twisted. You don't know me so stop making assumptions. There is no such thing as a "typical" anything. Start there and you end up with "stereotype:" You don't sound like a "typical" socialist. I don't know what a "typical" socialist is really.

    I've been enjoying the commentary and really enjoyed it when Parkin was on last week. Must be a bit annoying hearing someone slag your commentary off just because it's not their special day

    Take a tip from a 'pro' .... If you really want to wind people up on this board intentionally or otherwise, choose something about Boris, Cons, Corbyn, Brexit, Cummings, Trump, in praise of the Piggies, or whatever..... but leave our commentator alone!!

    I'm not against birthday MENTIONS during commentary but where did this SHART ART term come from?
    It's new fangled talk to me

    I blame that blumming Steve Wright in the afternoon

    If tha' wants a SHART ART, hit thi thumb wi' an 'ammer !!

    Otherwise ring in and politely request a birthday mention like I did 30 year ago

    Couldnt agree more...maybe if other commentators of other clubs up and down the country took a leaf out of Matt's book then we wouldnt hear the bias that we do week in week out ( Middlesbrough springs to mind )
    Matt is easy on the ear his voice isnt grating he describes the action as it happens without going ott and tells it as it is....he doesnt paper over the cracks .....if we are bad he calls it like it is....
    10 out of 10 for me.....
    Hes so professional in fact recently he broadcast whilst grieving for his father.how many would have done that
    Keep up the good work .....Matt
    Long may he continue....his style is unique


    If you read this Matt it's my mother's 87th birthday on the 17th of November.....shes a season ticket holder and sits in the west stand not far from your commentary box lol
