    Exactly this.

Redders is my all time fave. I was 15 years old when we got promoted to premier league. He was the main man when life was great for me. Not a care in the world, hanging about with mates, playing footy and cricket and computer games and watching the reds win nearly every week!

He probably isn’t the best reds player ever. But he is to me. Right place, right time.

King Ronnie was before my time. I’ve seen how amazing he was on YouTube but it can’t make me feel like Redders did when I was there living it.

Curiously I've never seen Glavin play but I have played on the same team as him. I guess he'd have been nearly 40 at the time and the time he had on the ball was mental. It's like he was playing at half speed and everyone else at full. IIRC it was against AS Monaco amateur side.

I played against him ( supposedly marking him) after he retired and God only knows what he was like when he was in his prime but his thinking and movement even in retirement was crazy!
