    That the TV and radio news bulletins now differentiate between GB and Northern Ireland. Eg: Travel is discouraged between Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
    I thought NI was in GB! Are they starting a campaign whereby we’re being softened up for the day we say goodbye to NI. I hope not because I fear that would lead to a bloodbath.

    Great Britain has always been the island of England, Scotland and Wales. NI is in the UK, but not GB

    We live in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The newsreaders are being entirely correct and have always been so as far as I recall.

    Ireland is an independent land mass. Of course it’s separate in terms of covid restrictions. Treat it as one, without pouring petrol on old divisions. Brexit will do that anyway. Lock it down with a common concern..
