He has done a reasonable job so far. But I have lost count the amount of times I have watched him speaking on TV and felt embarrassed for him. I think he fancies himself as some sort of stand-up. Maybe he should come up to the festival in Edinburgh this year. Time will tell how good he is. I think his interviews and comments are repetitive and I'm beginning to fear that he has some serious limitations. Clubs on limited budgets need managers with good PR skills and he certainly doesn't help entice any floating fans to turn up at Oakwell. And for anyone who doesn't agree, ask yourself which of the following managers would put the most bums on seats? Keith Hill or Mick McCarthy? He should think more carefully about his choice of words.

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

That's more than just a swipe at the fans: That covers players, management and owner. He wants to be careful.

Pessimism.... Playing 451 AGAIN. Look in the mirror Keith ya gret big jessi. The pessimism in the stands is bread purely from what we see in front of us. At the moment you have abandoned our free flowing passing and movement is none existent. "i play football what fans like to see and pay to watch" well Keith, where has it gone?

thats my worry with keith hill, his pr skills are poor, and his comments can be completely taken out of context...Since august, more or less every interview has had a swipe at the fans, which isnt good, the public in general are a fickle lot so for me he needs to be a bit more tactfull.
also, more or less every interview has been filled with comments about how we are over-achieving and that we've no money,,,,,its a tho' he's getting the excuses in incase he fails, and,in the event that we stay up it'll show him in a better light,ie look what i can do in the second tier of football with no money.
in his interview he says that BFC wont break him,,is he paranoid or summat,,who's trying to break him??...
When we play on the front foot we look capable of holding our own,,,when we go all defensive we look dodgy at best,,,it dunt tek a genius to see how we should be playing..

I don't understand why he thinks the club would WANT to break him, when they would want him to do really well. As for the pessimism well ****ing hell he brings it on himself. God help those 30 quid pay on the day customers who have to pay to watch too many average players trying their best in a negative formation with negative tactics, all down to the manager.

I'd like to congratulate Keith Hill for winding the miserable Oakwell faithful up, they are a depressing lot, not just the BFC fans but half the town too. I'm actually surprised they're blaming you Keith, they normally blame everything on Thatcher.

You keep doing what you're doing Keith, the points and league table speaks for itself. You've worked miracles on a budget that drove the last manager to piss off, he didn't see a way.

Radio Sheffield cut the KH interview short. If you listen again from the BBC Sport web site, he goes on to enthuse about the academy result and the players they are producing.

I really do not know why people take KH after the match comments so seriously. It is not life or death guys. It is just some fella letting off steam and in that respect is is no different to what the rest of us do on here. If you don't like it, then don't listen, but do not judge KH on what he says. Judge him on his results. And by results, I do not mean whether the team has won it last match. I mean judge him by whether the team improves season on season.

he needs to lose the F.E.A.R and drop the 4 5 1 formation or we,ll be dropping another 2,000 off the gate..............perhaps he wants us to be another little rochdale???

I had to laugh last week when I was having a quick read of the BBS. I think it was you that blamed the global price of oil on Thatcher. Proper cheered me up.

No doubt the high oil prices will be Keith's fault this week. Damn you Keith, it's costing me 60 bucks to fill the car up because of your rants.

i didnt blame the global price of oil on thatcher at all.................what i did blame thatcher for was our reliance on overseas energy,ie,oil, gas and coal, most of it from the most unstable parts of the world, and the fact that we are more or less held to ransom by these places now,,,exactly as we predicted 28 years ago.....get yer facts right fatty boy

I was wrong, you blamed it on the Notts miners

    Brillaint.

Keep em coming, cheers me up down under. When the price of a litre of petrol goes up here I'm going to blame it on the Notts Miners. It's just not on.

I'll probably blame Keith Hill for out of season fruit being expensive.
