Oh and they send you to a nut doctor before your given an op date. He gives your nads a good rummage with to see how your tubes are hanging. Bloke who felt mine was very gentle, but seemed a bit camp. Come to think of it, not sure he was a real doctor.
Yes hurt like ****, was laid there and doctor said its a little *****, I said I've never had any complaints but he meant the needle !! Use frozen peas for the swelling but don't leave it on too long you may get frostbite.
Really? I had nothing like that. A meeting with the surgeon who explained what he would do and asked any questions? I said I didn't fancy being awake during the op and he said he preferred to give a general as it stopped patients moving and kept bruising to a minimum. I also asked how soon and he said how about Thursday. In Thursday, walk out like John Wayne, back to work Friday did a Saturday night shift got home Sunday morning and a very delicate bit of leg over with my girlfriend. Everything normal I'm glad to say, Thought my balls might explode. LOL
A work mate who went for the op, at his initial consultation the receptionist gave him a sample bottle and ask him to go to the WC and provide a sample. After a short time he returned and handed it over to the girl. No No Mr Armstrong she said, it was a urine sample we were after. TBH I've no idea why he came back to work and admit to that one. But FAF.
You do have to provide a follow up sample about 4 months after the op. Lad at works, mate never did. Op can't have been successful and his missus became pregnant later that year. Unless it was milkman.
Seriously - nowt to it. Had mine done on a Friday and back in work Monday. Bit uncomfortable afterwards for a week or so but once the tiny cut heals and the bruising goes it was fine (my ding dangs were black and blue)! Then a couple of months later its a *****-fest trying to get the 2 clear samples to see if its worked. Obviously everyone has different experiences - but mine was fine. Glad I had it done.
did my left knacker first, then had to inject my right a further twice, room was full of women to boot at Barnsley hospital and when the anaesthetic wore off hurt like buggery ! in fact they gave me some gauze like keks and said wear them today have a bath tomorrow and you'll be reight 1 aye did that set off for a walk into town had to go back and get em out of the bin. So in summary get her to go and have the gearbox done instead hers will wear out when she starts the change anyway
Our Rochdale friend is correct, it's fine - bit of sensation of pulling and bit of a smell of burning but other than that no issues, other than I was training for a half marathon at the time and had to buy some more supportive undercrackers to reduce bounce levels. I was chatting to the bloke as he was doing it and after about ten minutes he said "right, halfway there - that's one side done". So I asked him if anybody had ever packed it in at that stage - and he said yeah, twice. Once he'd managed to coax the bloke into carrying on after calming him down for ten minutes, the other time the guy just went "f.ck this" and got up off the table and he never saw him again. Just left it at the old half-Jaffa. Wonder if he'd only have left handed kids?
Could feel him pulling tubes in ball sack, made my toes curl. Child birth is a peace of pi55 compared to a vasectomy, been present at birth of both my kids and it's just a natural process
And the fact that it took place in a well known dogging location at 11-30 at night leads to some suspicion too.
Mate at work had it done last week and was driving 24 hours later. All done through keyhole surgery now. Said it was a piece of piss.
I think 99.9% of snips go ok, but one of the blokes at work had it done and it went bad afterwards. He couldn't walk (or work) for weeks after and eventually went on long term sick with mental problems - although that was probably not related to the operation...
I once met a lovely nurse in Japanese Whispers who offered to do it with her teeth. I'm still entire.
