What's the difference between "never" having Dike, and having our own David Hirst for half a season?

I can agree on our inability to score, but I can't see how it's the manager's fault today. You can't blame him for visa or back problems. As for today our fully fit Belgian had enough opportunities to shine but didn't. Can't see the manager should take the blame for that today.

Did they play for him? Palmer put in a better shift, Woodrow had a good game. In my opinion the wing halves did not perform, and Styles was a big loss.

I played 5 a side on Thursday and we won 3-1. I managed an assist. Take that Vic.

OK - so the result and performance today was irrelevant to you then - you'd have been moaning even if we'd won 6-0 . Fair enough.

Nearly a quarter of the way through the season and Barnsley FC have won 1 game. You don't really need another reason why he should go that should be enough. We aren't a team just up from L1 we are a team who finished in a playoff position in the championship just a few months ago. You can give this guy as much time as you like but all you'll get is the same ****. The only club below us are only there because they've had 12 points taken off them. He needs to go now.

i think it speaks volumes where we are as a club that Victor is still here, never mind getting a game. This team would struggle in L1.

Once again Fonzie, we didn't have Dike OR Morris last Christmas...at which point we were mid table.

Also true, but we had Solbauer, Anderson, Mowatt, Chaplin (who I'd have in front of Vic/Iseka), and then signed Morris and Dike in January. Styles also missed today, as did Benson who is our Mowatt replacement.

This is on recruitment imo, not Schopp.

I get what you're saying. Schopp has been very unlucky with the tools at his disposal. The fact remains that those ARE the tools at his disposal and we're heading down. God knows when Morris, Oulare, Benson etc will be fit but Schopp is undeniably failing to do anything with what he has. A replacement may do no better but I wish to god we'd take the risk because a replacement could do no worse.

I get what you're saying. Is Schopp getting the absolute best out of the players at his disposal? Definitely not. Woodrow, Brittain, Helik, Styles and Palmer are certainly underperforming. Probably only Collins is playing to or above his potential.

I genuinely don't know what the answer is. Hopefully 5 other clubs go into administration.

And if we'd had a super start then Schopp would have been eyeing up his next role already. Works both ways, he's crap get shut now.

you are right I am judging him completely on today’s performance nothing to do with turning the 5th.l best team in the league in the worst or not scoring in open play for 2 months. You are spot on I apologise

It's results that decide whether you go down or stay up so yes the fact once again we've lost annoys me because It's 11th time we haven't won out of 12 games and yet the manager ploughs on with the same way of playing which is obviously beyond the players ability or beyond his coaching ability or both. He needs to go now

Well if anyone else on here apart from Jimmy Viz thinks that I'm a troll apart from you then I will quit tonight.

Off you go chaps - tell me I'm a troll. And who I'm trolling (if that's how it operates).

I agree that the results compared to the mid/end last season are chronic (although how many points at this stage did we have last season?) .

I agree we are on our way down as it stands.

I just don't agree that what happened today is more fuel on the fire to sack the manager.

We lost again and its a results business that's the reason. Yes I agree we didn't have many points last season at this stage but what changed that, The new manager might not have been because the board sacked struber but the change improved us because VI took one look at the players and changed the way they played this clown has changed it back and guess what the players still can't play that way.

We haven't replaced dike but I'm not disagreeing with you but replacing him permanently we couldn't afford. Same with mowatt to replace a midfielder like Alex championship quality would cost 4/5 million 20k a week in wages we should have kept hold of kane.
I'm not asking us to be top 5 pushing play offs just competitive 1 win all season isn't competitive.
