Either that or he works in HR.

No-one knows what will happen next season but at least it looks as though the board is backing the manager for a change.

I think the players bailed him out

Dont forget that a lot were getting ready to negotiate new contracts or look for moves, IMHO I think they turned up and performed when it mattered and got us the results in spite of and not because of.

If you look, he couldnt motivate a response when it really could have mattered against the foxes and then we would have been left facing the baggies needing something but Alan Lee got him off the hook.

Anyway, that is all past. I think he will get found out next season and will be gone by Xmas.

My own opinion, he's not good enough and it will be proved before long.

Right I'm off for a sausage sarney now.....yipeeee dinner time

Agree about that mate. If Alan Lee hadn't scored then we were down.

    How does that work?

    We finished above Hull.

    Cos it does.

Leeds wouldn't have decided to go into Admin if they'd beaten Ipswich and had had a chance of stopping up. Hull were safe on the last day and tossed it off knowing Leeds were down.Those2 sides would have gone into the final day fixtures knwoing wins would keep them up - We couldn't have gone to WBA to win, after the non event v Leicester.

    For God's sake

nowt like being on Davey's back is there, I think some of u want him to fail so u can say "told u so". He did the business last season so have a little respect for the man.

I agree. He did a job in surviving last season. There's no reason why he can't sustain and build upon that next year.

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

    In contention for the play-offs?

A team that just managed to stay up is now expected to push for promotion? Nice to see people keeping their feet firmly on the ground.

RE: In contention for the play-offs?

But this is not the same team that just survived!! With all these new players that we are assured are the dogs ******, why not assume that we are aiming bfor the play offs? I mean S.M. tells us every day how good they are and how near to God Davey is, how we are after special players and we will all be amazed with the quality we are signing.
Sorry but I have not seen this amazing quality signing yet, yes we have signed some players , but they are all one that MAYBE good enough.
Where are the speedy defenders Davey himself said we needed? Lucketti is definitely not a speed merchant, who else are we looking at?
