Swearing isn't big or clever. That enough for you?

Has he said he thinks it's acceptable? From what I'm reading, he's said the total opposite

You do what you think is acceptable, I just wish it was a nicer atmosphere to take wife and family to away games. Hey ho hardly going to hold it against you only putting the other point of view forward.

    Yes.

My missus knows a good collection of swearing words.

    She'd be joining in

I didn't join in during the first few 'Hill's a ****er' chants as I'd got a couple in front of me who looked like they were in there 70's & seemed the really pleasant type. They looked kind of sweet, sat holding hands with matching Barnsley scarfs & then the next thing he joined in with the chants so I thought fair enough & joined in myself

I did shout "blind basterd" at the linesman closest to us early in the first half. He failed to spot their defender (Tanser?) pulling Cole's shirt when through down that flank. He then failed to spot (and the blind ref) the trip on Cole in the same period, nailed on penalty had Devante gone down like a lot of 'stars' do. But he tried to keep upright and score. I love him already.

For what it's worth, I will be bookmarking a few threads from the last 24 hours. Because the next time I get all mardy, and start doubting some of our players when we inevitably lose another game, I can look back and think on.

Bit of support yesterday, constant backing, for manager and players, and they played the occasion and game superbly. Lets try doing it at home. I won't hold my breath though.

I'm guessing it was her dad that made her. Probably had a few choice words with her too. She was daft. Whether or not that means she deserved the song on Setdi is up for debate, but they do say if you give it out you should be able to take it. I read her tweets and she said as bad if not worse to Barnsley supporters.

The song wasn't sung loud, I doubt if anyone outside our stand heard it. I didn't join in, most didn't either, it seemed one step too far to me, but I can understand the argument for singing it after the Twitter debacle.

I was near them unless we've a couple of pensioner couples who like joining in with the rest with abuse :) Was that in the POTD section right of the halfway line in front of the heavy police presence during the second half :)

    Doesn't seem like it...

Personally, I think he's handled it well. Why go through all the hassle of answering questions about a club he left almost two years ago. Whatever he said would have been picked up by someone and thrown back in his face. Impossible position, so just shut the **** up. Well done him. Pity he hadn't learnt that lesson when he was with us. Although, he had to go through that learning experience with us to get where he is now. No doubt it's made him a better manager.

I was sat right behind them & bang in line with the half way line. It definitely made me smile. Maybe we've got two sets of oap couples abusing Keith Hill
