    My understanding is that Smith wasn't registered in time for the original draw for this round. So if we get through he'll be ok to play next round.

    That was my understanding too. He has played for Swindon but it's obviously a different rule in this cup.

    I can neither confirm nor deny that but he did play for Swindon in the first round however I don't know how the JPT apply their rules on cup tied players.
