    No surprise, but the reality of it hits me hard. I am absolutely gutted. Compare this to last season, I know we lost to Ipswich, but there was a sense of pride and plenty of positives to see.

    Hand on heart if cryne was in charge in from 95 onwards we would never have got in prem a couple of seasons later....time for him to go and enjoy his retirement

    Sadly mr cryne appears to be a **** salesman if he's been trying as has been said to find a suitable buyer. Teams around us in South Yorkshire no a little further afield have managed it

    The point you made, somebody will buy the club, it's a championship club averaging 14,000 gates. Even after reading John Dennis book l don't believe we would ever have gone out of business with the little debt we had. It's clubs at the arse end of the pyramid with little gates and no money that fall through the trap door

    No. We have sold all our good players and replaced them with cheaper less good ones not yet ready for the championship.

    Agree seemed to be two basic defensive errors from established players. Looked like Gus for the first
    and Yids for the second.? Lucky rebound for the third. Got time to work on it and Lindsay with some height
    and Izzy and McGeehan with some zip yet to play. All is not lost.!

    Same, we showed relegation form from February - May & then lost 5 of our best 8 remaining players in Roberts, Scowen, James, Watkins & Kent.

    There's not a lot left, Davies, MacDonald & Yiadom with Yiadom likely to leave soon.

    It's going to be a tough few months, even if the new lads turn out to be good enough then they'll take time to adapt to the league & each other

    How many players are still at the club from the play off final? Davies/Hammill and Isgrove so pretty much an entire team. 15 of the 18 man squad.
