    Did you trust the previous regime? You don't know why the consortium were told to "**** off" by the club's you mentioned. Maybe they thought it was too good to be true because the sellers had painted a picture that was far rosier than reality.

    Thanks for the concern Benny... Am just ****** off wi them darn at Oakwell. With em still going down the route of experiment with youth and inexperience In management/coach. And charging top dollar for the privilege. We can either support em or not..
    I didn't care for it under PC.. But could understand it cos it saved him putting money in.. But I always thought/hoped it would change back into a "normal"club again with a takeover, nowt fancy and overstretching, just normal. Have bit of a go each year ... But its not to be not with these newbies
    If your happy with it, fine no probs. But I feel no affinity...

    Thing is nobody knows how well we will do next season, that's what makes football exciting. I wanted McCarthy but no one can guarantee success even spending silly money doesn't ensure promotion. A good start, a few new signings, get the best out of some of our players then it's when "we win promotion stendel is our king." If he doesn't work then the boo s can start and they will sack him then try someone else and so it goes on. I'm sure all fans and clubs think this might be thier year but only 3 go up.

    You need to do a bit of research on those clubs and realise why they didn’t buy them, they certainly weren’t told to “**** off”.

    He was a weapon of the highest order him and i'm glad he isn't on here anymore.

    Conan and Nudger come out of this thread actually looking reasonable and positive whereas multiple others come across as negative bellends, i doubt this will get as much traction though as it doesn't fit the agendas of some.
