Have some threads been removed this morning?

About 18 months too late for me !!

 

He's never hijacked one of my threads. Probably because I talk to him with a bit of respect and take him with a pinch of salt.

Try it, lads.

He made a joke about Hassell that I saw this morning (Mellon having a go) and people jumped on it. Looking forward to Conan being banned for his constant posts about McNulty.

Tough to differntiate between a joke and consistently chirping about the same individual time and time again. He looks for trouble and finds it simple as.

Pretty sure he will have hijacked your threads before i.e last season when you were having a go at the team and he went off on one off the top of my sweed.

Conan does moan a lot and took the mcnumpty thing too far but you can reason with him and have a constructive discussion, however not with the chosen one.

Im sure people may speak to him with respect if that was the way he spoke to others. You reap what you sow.

HT is the funniest thing about this forum, and i don't mean that in a bad way on HT's part, i'm talking about how easy it is for him to wind you all up, intentionally or unintentionally.

 

Gutted a quite liked hemsy, I think he does talk Sense sometimes, not been on forum for long. But what I have noticed is some posters talk about him when he hasn't entered in the post himself, then when he does see he's been talked about he enters the thread. If any of this makes sense

Although - bizarrely - I am lumped in as one of those who follow him around.

Which I don't. Quite the opposite, actually. Whereas, I can think of one or two who do follow him around, yet they aren't lumped in. BBS propaganda, innit?


I find some folk on here are missing the point of a lot of natural things. We're all different. Different ages, different circumstances/jobs/relationships and certainly different opinions on a lot of things. So of course 'some' will be pissed with Hemsworth, and likewise 'some' will find him amusing, or easily ignored etc.

But the fact is, there are more members pissed with him, including site admin, and they run this shindig. So that's that.


Personally, I don't want him banning, or putting on ignore. I always say this, but I do like the lad. Passionate kid, just needs to channel it better, more positively. But what do I know? I'm not perfect, not even 1%. But I'm a learner. I love learning. Love to improve. And I am pretty satisfied that after 31 years on this planet I've got no enemies, owe nobody a penny, and I'm the most easy going lad you could ever meet. And believe me, without getting the violins out I have an extraordinarily harsh life, which is something I've never remarked upon before on here, although a few of you know already. Makes you realise what's important.


I love this forum. I've had to defend it a lot over the last 18 months, for reasons some of you will understand. It's a force for good so often.

The last 6 months or so have been incredible on here. 2012 and 2013 versions of the BBS couldn't be more diametrically opposed. The sea change in positivity has really helped me on a personal level. Don't care how sad that may sound to some of you. But you have a think back, to some of the good stuff on here, in times of adversity. We're a good bunch. And Hemsworth is one of us.
