    Bloody Hell! Good story ...

    I've been to Israel and had a hard time from Jewish Israelis cos "I lived with the Palestinians" in Jeruslalem.

    Also I danced with Israelis in a great club with great people as well, so can't judge really.

    It wasn't bloody, fortunately, but it was hell! He built himself a makeshift "inner shelter" using a large supply of duty free cigarettes and his curtains and hid for a while until his cigarette consumption caused the shelter to collapse!

    It got better for him after he left Lebanon. He got a job in Papua New Guinea and had to be smuggled out of there, disguised as a priest, by some christian missionaries! Jacked that in and went to work in Syria.

    He reckons the most dangerous place he's lived is Manchester!
