Having just got back from UK...

    Again! UK was, in many ways, no better or worse than EU re Covid etc. Our hairdresser along with many small businesses got virtually no assistance when the Covid lockdowns were imposed. In spite of the promised 'help' from Central Govt in Rome he got one payment for 1 month and then was closed down for a year without any assistance. Quite a few businesses have never recovered.
