Having just watched the goals, that was never a penalty in a decade of Sundays

I didn't see anything at the time, but what convinced me it wasn't a pen..

was that no-one from the Donny team, bench or fans, appealed for a pen. Every one seemed bemused a the time.

    It begs the question, mate

What did a large number of us and, more importantly, the referee see as a blatant penalty that you were unable to?. We're not saying we saw something simply to be argumentative. Nor did to referee give it simply to be controversial.

    The refs never do...

What did Rob Styles see in order to award ManUre a ridiculous penalty against Bolton last week?

Cos it certainly wasn't a foul.

    A large number saw nothing

the barnsley players were furious, not a doncaster player appealed.

I think it shows it was dubious at best.

I was convinced at the time from the East Stand Upper Gangway 14

that it was a blatant penalty. The TV footage just leaves me confused.

    also

a chorus of "1-0 to the referee"

and a fair number, I think, were secretly happy we were losing.

the TV footage is from the wrong side

and souza coming across plus the post behind the players helps to hide kozluk pushing their player.

I think the reason that many missed it at the time is they were watching the ball which went passed so fast that they only saw the player go into the net out of the corner of their eye.

Allen, it was a penalty yesterday.

I'm not trying to annoy people or wind them up on this. I saw a blatant push by Kozluk on Guy as he was preparing to jump for the ball and so did the referee. That's why he gave a pushing movement with his hands to explain the decision. If I hadn't seen a push, I wouldn't say that I had. For all my faults, I'd like to think I'm an honest person and certainly not a wind up merchant.

Just because I don't see a reason for a decision

    Doesn't mean a reason doesn't exist.
I agree with you about some people appearing to want us to lose. I wasn't one of them.

I think we'll have to all agree to disagree

    Lol.

At the time I thought it might be a pen, but that angle doesn't hide anything've watched it over and over again and there's minimal if any contact.

    Exactly. You saw nothing.

I saw something. Many other people saw something. The referee saw something.
Put it this way. If I had seen nothing, but someone else had claimed to see something, then I'd be willing to accept that I may be wrong. Just because I didn't see what someone else had seen, doesn't mean that it didn't happen.

    hehe

I might be wrong, but so might you.

Just because a referee gives something doesn't mean that it happened!

It's all about opinions and in my opinion I don't think there was anything to warrant a penalty. We probably had a much better claim but the ref gave nothing.

    Correct

Definate push by Kozzie made to look worse by forward upending himself into the netting.

Consistency in refereeing would have seen us receive 2 penalties for similar infringements.
