Hayes has made similar noises before

I dont see how the Davey has been dishonest - he's just stated what Hayes himself has said though I agree he has perhaps not stated that Hayes plays not part in his plans. I guess you can put that down to either that he saw Hayes as no more than a squad player and offered him a new contract accordingly or that suggesting Hayes played no part in his plans would have an effect on the fee we might receive at tribunal.

No doubt had Southend survived the drop he would have been heading down south.

As it happens I think he would have been good to keep as an option from the bench though that depends on wages and who comes in to the squad in the summer.

Who told you that hayes had been in the chairmans office and said that? Or was you stood there listening at the time?

And it's an even safer bet that if Hayes has had a bust up

with the club, which we know he has, he wouldn't go around telling fans the real reason he was off, particularly Sychophantic Muppet. ffs.

    FFS

Hayes is off because his contract has expired and the manager of BFC is not prepared to offer him what he wants or first team football and someone else is.

As for SM I dont know him but I would more likely believe him than the constant utter negative ***** that eminates from your own keyboard.

well i for 1 wont miss him. gotta be the most idle player we had, even worse than nads. never tried

even when he went to huddersfield they nick named him lazy haysey

but gud luck to him and hope hes injured for both games as its inevitable that he scores against us
