Always loved Mick, and could listen to the bloke talk for hours when he's been on Goals on Sunday and the like... On one hand would love him to come home to manage us one day, but on the other it would be heart breaking if it didn't work out and sections of the crowd turned on him! If we had a 'Tarn hall of fame, he'd have to be one of the first names in, wouldn't he?
I dont know if this was posted on here at the time, but heres Mick making the effort at Norm's funeral.
And I find this interesting, this is Mick sharing his all time top 11 with Paul Merson. This is what he would call an old fashioned traditional 4-4-2, ohh and we get a couple of mentions again Pat BONNER, Chris, HUGHTON, Kevin MORAN, Norman HUNTER (c). Paul MCGRATH, Ray HOUGHTON, Paul McSTAY, Andy TOWNSEND, Kevin SHEEDY, Frank STAPLETON, Allan CLARKE.
