We have put ourselves back a year by sacking Wilson. I'm reasonably confident that after a transitional season we would be challenging this year for promotion instead we are in another mid table transitional season.
I'm of that opinion too. But dead fish eyes. It's early days this season, we're in the pack. You've to hope it clicks eventually.
I agree with this. In fact I'm still think Wilson was sacked unnecessarily and was the right man to get usvout of this league. I have no confidence whatsoever that negative LJ will take us forwards.
I hope we do. He needs 3 years. If it's not happening for him by then then history suggests it never will, but Johnson needs that long for us to be able to tell if he's any good. Wilson needed it too like, as did Flicker, Hill and Robins, but that's the past and we've got to change from this point forward. I hope the board are capable of that change, but, unfortunately, I've seen nothing to suggest they are. Simon Davey is often mentioned as a counter to this argument. We were never relegated under Davey...
You can write whatever you like, but it's not a judgement because you didn't witness it. I'm not having a go and you're perfectly entitled to your opinion, but an opinion isn't the same as a judgement.
Seriously thinking of stopping going to away games, these tactics are *****, tippy tappy foreign bo//ocks.
I'm not wasting anymore money on away games, not unless there is a change of tactics because it costs too much to be bored rigid.
He was the previous manager, it's natural that he'll be referred to. I wouldn't read anything into it other than that. I certainly wouldn't let it bother you..
agree with this 100%. Stopped going to away games. I just don't see the point. The worry is that I'll reach the stage where I stop seeing the point in going to home games as well. If it wasn't for the fact that home games are these days more about the few hours out of the house talking ***** in the pub over a couple of pints with my mate then I probably would stop.
The main problem today was that they were all waiting for someone else to make something happen, none of them wanted the responsibility. That Harris had a few shots but he takes too long and too many touches before having a go, I think every shot he had was blocked. Winnall can't play up front on his own either.
