    I think we should really bamboozle the opposition

    They'll line up expecting a game of football, but we'll take them on at hockey. See how they cope with being tackled with a stick.

    I think it's a good idea, it's not as though he's advocating that we do this in every game next season. He's saying that in a friendly match which is designed for getting match fitness and trying out things they did in training that they actually work on maintaining possession.

    we've been through all this, take out your 3 best players, including 2 central midfielders and an attacking midfielder/striker and any sort of passing forward becomes a problem.

    how about
    rule 1: no kicking ball over head height... to improve passing
    rule 2: all players to wear The Don masks... to improve the Dons status
    rule 3: players must only use their weaker foot... to improve it
    rule 4: all players must run backwards... steele then knows who he is kicking it to
    rule 5: shots must only be taken on "odd" yardages from the goal line... to improve distance awareness
    rule 6: keef and flicker have to play scrabble during the match... to improve their word abilities

    etc etc.. ok got bored now....

    who is going to alfreton by the way?????
