Disagree with Helik going backwards this season. You only have to look at his stats as one of the stand out defenders in the championship to see that. Without him in the defence, we would have been relegated in January IMHO.
Agree with you. There will be a few worried about Morris's injury record. Will depend whether someone is willing to shell out whatever the club values him at & whether him & his agent want to get him a move. Probably the next player we sell to Luton. We'll find him very difficult to replace. Non of the lads in our U23s look to have much of a physical presence.
clubs will recognise the talent in Styles and will pay for that. They will see him chucked in with little or no support in every position except the proper one. My mate who I sometimes go with scouts for a PL club and thinks he has the attributes to go all the way but will need another year or two to develop.
Not saying he isnt talented he is. Is he ready to play week in week out at center midfield in the championship? Not for me. As a wing back? Possibly he was the best wing back in the division under val. He has had a very poor season but he isnt alone, Cant see us getting big money for him people were saying 5million in the summer be lucky to get 2million.
Who's going to want Styles? Seriously? Just because he's been called up to some racist country that has very little quality to choose from doesn't make him a good player. He's an attacking player with two goals this season in 43 games. He finished last season with 17 without a goal. Before that he had two goals in sixteen. 76 games for 4 goals. How many assists in that time? Be next to nothing. He's just been a first team regular in one of our worst ever seasons especially at this level. Just what in his stats or performances makes people think he will be wanted by a boat load of clubs?
If anyone is a idiot it's you. You're a bit dense aren't ya? I replied to someone else with an opinion and you just go straight to an insult instead of giving a grown up opinion back. I understand that's hard for some people to achieve so I will let you off.
He’s part of a defence that’s got relegated plus he’s only scored once. None of it is his fault but I’m pretty sure any fee will be significantly less than it would’ve been 12 months ago.
As well as the £8million gap in finance, there is the wage cap to consider. We are exempt season one, but they need to consider the likelihood of being promoted in the first season, and the likely fees we’d get for players after a season without much success in league one. They’d have to sell six or seven to make the £8million in my eyes - I just can’t see them getting £3million plus for any one player. I can see there being many sales this summer, as I say, potentially six or seven regulars plus a clearing of other squad players. It may not be so drastic but in order to keep afloat (bearing in mind we already carry a seven figure debt), it appears likely to be necessary, and Khaled has already confirmed it to be the case
. You are a mindless troll. You can’t write a coherent sentence. Your ‘opinions’ aren’t worth responding to on any sort of intellectual level because they are so stunningly stupid. Jacob Brown played as a forward. Scored 4 goals. We sold him for 2 million quid. He’s a championship regularly and has scored 13 this season.
