I know I say some cheeky things about him . But I love him to bits . He's always there when I need a cuddle , he makes me laugh and he helps me with my homework . I always feel safe with him around .

That was really quick Excellent that you are back home and annoying your mum and dad again so soon. If you are recovering that quickly you should have got a ticket to Blacky!
It will be back to slow and steady recovery now she's home. Physio got her up and on her feet straight away this morning walking with a frame after doing exercises on the bed - bending her legs as far as she could and then straightening them as much as she could. This knocked her back and made her sick and dizzy but an hour later she decided to try again and got up and walked the length of the ward. After a rest and some lunch they got her up and walking up and down using crutches. "We'll give it an hour or so and then try again, then later or tomorrow we'll try going up and down stairs" "No, I'm up now so I might as well try now, the Drs said I could go home when I could get up and walk!" Needless to say she managed the stairs! An hour later "we" were told we could go home. She then walked from the bottom of the ward, to the lifts and then from one side of Sheffield Hospital all the way to the car at the other end, which for anyone not familiar with the place is a good 10 mins at normal walking pace. Kevin complained at the length of it yesterday - then again wrong example. Chris said it was a long way when he visited Wednesday evening. Laura then managed to climb into the car and never once complained, she just kept saying that she was sorry it was taking her too long to get to the car. Bless her, she fell asleep in the car coming home.
Welcome back Laura! That was quick! It's nice to have you back here, and I hope you feel much better already.
