Just because we have two players fom Malta dosent make that country less EVIL

...........they should be kicked out of the EU because of their attitude to wild birds

........And Mr Malta will know exactly what I'm saying here because there is a huge debate going on that has made headline news in that country

There are obviously people on this message board that don't read newspapers.......and

..........who don't have access to a television set

Its unbeleivable that some on here dont know about Malta and the problems they had getting into the EU because of their attitude to wildlife issues

I dont think shooting birds nearly prevented Britain joining the EU ???

........people shoot over here, But in Malta...........everything is shot.............everything

And because of it strategic importance that means the efforts of millions of people in northern europe are blasted out of the sky by Maltese cowboys

    Sad ..............but true

    I think you are mistaken

    just an example

The hunting season opened on 17 September 2006. Some 70,000 hunters are
permitted to hunt 40 different bird species until the end of the season on
31 January 2007.These include Skylark Alauda arvensis, Ruff Philomachus
pugnax, Water Rail Rallus aquaticus und Jack Snipe Lymnocryptes minimus. The
annual bag of the officially huntable species is about 17 million birds, the
most sought-after being the Song Thrush Turdus philomelos with 7.7 million
birds shot. In addition an estimated 10 to 20 million birds are shot
illegally. Conservationists had one success to their credit before the
season began. Several regions had applied to have the season extended by an
earlier start of 2 weeks (from 2 September). An Italian organisation
secured a court injunction against a local administrative court decision to
    begin the season early.

Who in their right mind wants a good will messaage from Iran

...........the sooner the Israelis bomb that country the better it will be for the rest of the world

.........IF...........Iran ever develops the nuclear bomb, Britain and the rest of the world will live in total fear

But of course the Israelis will not let the situation get that far
