Help: Free software for drawing plans?

    No, but I've seen the ads and thought I'd give it a try when I'm in the UK next. I've been drinking quite a bit of cider down here (we mix with a few people from Somerset, needs must and all that).

    sure i will have a look for it , not sure where i stand with the Licence but i did by it

    also I think it may only run on windows 97 but again I would have to check

    Thanks for that but from what I can see they're more for room planning. What I need is a CAD-style package where I can design a garage and then fiddle around with the size of the doors, pitch of the roof, etc before printing it out viewed from the top, front and side to send to the planning authorities. And I want it for free. Don't ask for much, do I?
