    He spent 7 years as part of the youth set up at Liverpool.

    As part of this, he will have done media training.

    One word answers are not part of that training, neither is the lack of interest in the interview.

    As I’ve said before, he’s not doing himself any favours being like that.

    But then again, his hair cut is that bad, that even EA Sports have took the mick out of him, and he’s done nothing about it…… so perhaps he’s actually just thick and can’t help it….. who knows

    No loss. Like all the players we have paid decent money for that turned out to be major flops. Been utterly turgid this season.

    Wow! That was a very painful watch. The discontent shone through. To some extent that’s understandable. He’s always come across in his interviews as being annoyed at the shambolic way the Club is run - on and off the pitch. But even so, he really shouldn’t be put in front of a microphone. Doesn’t do himself or the Club any favours.

    That is a player who thinks very highly of himself. The superiority complex radiates off of him.

    The fact is, his football has been poor, and his attitude even poorer.

    Yep one decent season on loan at Oxford and one decent season here last year. Absolutely crap the rest of the time. Like how he also makes out missing out in the play offs is nothing to do with him either- do better during the season and you wouldn’t need to play in them.

    my kids were proper laughing at him on the poster behind them at the fans forum the other night - they found him standing there with his mouth open really funny for some reason lol

    I don’t know what you’ve been watching but I wouldn’t class his repeated renditions of ‘take ball in space, cruyff turn when near an opponent and pass it backwards’ as being the best of anything. I get Deja vu watching him every game.

    Though as I’m writing it, I realise that we’ve been that bad at times this season that retaining the ball even if hardly ever doing anything positive with it might actually be the second best thing we have had on the field this season. Connell is top three or four and he’s only played a couple of games.
